I was happy to get to keep Eli monday and tuesday. He is so energetic! He is so close to walking but just not sure about it yet. He climbs now! You sure have to be right there behind him. He has no fear! He climbed into the walker, but just as i thought he would cruise around in it he was climbing back out. So the walker went out to the garage. We will store it for the next baby.
He bumped his head on Grammy's sewing machine cabinet. He got a big old goose egg! I just wanted to cry, he had only been here about an hour. When he did it I was right next to him, he just got tangled over his feet and went down on it forehead first. He let me hold a cold wash cloth on it while he drank some of his juice. By tuesday it was gone down, just a greenish bruise by tuesday morning.
It is so fun being on the floor with him. He will come over and hug me once in awhile. In his way he is telling me "I love playing with you Gma!" Of course I love it just as much. Taking him home was hard. He cried and reached for me. I wish I didn't have to leave either. But I knew he would be okay as soon as Miranda started feeding him his supper.
He is trying to talk. I am sure he said Dog. (he loves phoenix running around here in the house).
He says what sounds like yeah! But it sort of sounds like laaal.
of course mom and momma are his favorite words so he says those alot. And yabadabadoo, well thats what it sounds like to me.
He loves the monkeys in the book, Caps for sale. He also likes his picture book of animals and bugs.
Just so he never gets too old to cuddle with Grandma. I love the little guy so much!
